Haslemere’s Great Green Get Together a huge success!

In August 2021 we opened our doors for business. The absolute highlight has been getting to know our wonderful members and creating a community of co-workers.

On 8th April I spoke at the Spring meeting of the Haslemere Society and raised the question of whether co-working is a force for good

I chose to become a volunteer for the Surrey Police during the pandemic

You may be familiar with Maslow’s slightly more well known hierarchy of needs. I thought we might try to re-imagine it for the hybrid working era.

In the quickly evolving ecosystem of hybrid working, many people are using co-working spaces for the first time.

Tucked behind the smaller of our meeting rooms at HasleWorks is my favourite spot. A high work table with striking coloured chairs and above it a copy of a beautiful wall hanging from 1896.

Since the middle of August my daily commute has been a walk into Haslemere town centre, to HasleWorks, a new co-working space just off the High Street.

As the landscape of hybrid office working begins to take shape, the different components are beginning to exhibit complementary strengths.
