HasleWorks is in the heart of Haslemere and here to support the local community

At HasleWorks, our mission is simple: to provide a vibrant and professional workspace that supports both personal productivity and the broader community of Haslemere & surrounding villages.

Founded in 2021, HasleWorks was created to meet the growing demand for an accessible, professional workspace for individuals and businesses in and around Haslemere. Whether you're a freelancer, remote worker, or part of a small business, HasleWorks offers a convenient alternative to working from home, while keeping you close to it.

The idea for HasleWorks was born from a desire to support Haslemere's social and economic recovery following the pandemic. We believe that by bringing more people into the town centre during the workday, we can contribute to the vitality of local businesses, especially the independent shops and cafes that make Haslemere unique.

It has always been the aim for HasleWorks to be a not-for-profit venture and in 2024 we established HasleWorks as a CIC - a Community Interest Company. Any surplus profits will be donated to local charitable causes, ensuring that the community benefits from our success.

Our Co-working Space

Spread over two floors and flooded with natural daylight, HasleWorks is bright and contemporary. The renovation of the building was carefully planned to include desks that suit groups or individuals, breakout and open-plan meeting areas, booths for private phone or video calls and a well equipped meeting room. It is furnished with state of the art furniture to make sure that all of our members can work in comfort.

Who works here?

Our co-working members are a much-valued part of our community here at HasleWorks. They range from self employed consultants, to directors of SMEs, to employees of larger corporations. They include lawyers, researchers, experts in education, digital marketing, communications, cyber security as well as students. Most live either in Haslemere or in the surrounding towns and villages. Some use HasleWorks as their permanent base, while others join us for a shorter period, as home and work circumstances dictate.

Follow us on Instagram, where we often introduce you to our members.

We also make our facilities available to local community groups whenever we can and have supported HHH Concerts, Love Haslemere Hate Waste and Haslemere’s Cancer Research shop amongst others.

Who’s who

Our founding team is rooted in Haslemere. Founding Directors Matthew and Helen Bowcock, who have lived here for over 20 years, were joined by their son Dom, who brought insights from his experience of co-working spaces in London. Kate Bradford and Paul Edwards, more recent residents of Haslemere, offer their expertise in market research and brand development, honed over successful careers in London.

In 2024, Arnie Ayton, who grew up here in Haslemere and who had used HasleWorks as his office for 2 years, took operational responsibility for HasleWorks. Arnie will continue to run his hugely successful accountancy firm, Spondoo Accountants, from HasleWorks, offering efficient and cost effective accountancy and tax services for small companies - we should know, we're one of his clients!

Kitty Aycinena joined HasleWorks in March 2023 as our Office Manager, bringing over 20 years of administrative, marketing and accounting experience gained from working in both small businesses and charities across a variety of industries.
