A bit about me

I’m Jo and I’m the Founder and Director of Bookings for You. Bookings For You is an award-winning travel business. We currently have approximately 250 villa rentals in Italy. I set up the company 13 years ago and have always worked remotely. Back then, working entirely from home made sense – I was a mum to two young children and was juggling family life and my career. These days, whilst working from home does work for me some of the time, I also find I need the option of a formal office space too.

Why did I come to HasleWorks?

The nature of the Bookings For You business means most people email us rather than picking up the phone. We do love talking to people so do try to speak to our clients as much as we can. However, we appreciate that for most people, email is the preferred form of communication. That does mean it can get a bit quiet working from home! As a result, we love the buzz that the HasleWorks office atmosphere brings us.

But that’s not the only reason we enjoy using HasleWorks. As the Bookings For You business has grown, we have taken on new team members. HasleWorks is a great space for the team to work together on projects, sharing ideas. An afternoon or day at HasleWorks always proves to be a productive one for the team.

What I like about HasleWorks

The atmosphere in HasleWorks always seems to prove fruitful for us! Everyone we have met through HasleWorks has always been super friendly too and it’s fascinating to get an insight into what other people locally do. But, most importantly, the space works for us. The flexible arrangement of being able to purchase slots which I can then use flexibly to suit my diary also suits my business. And the soundproofed spaces also allow us to work on content creation ideas knowing that we’re not disturbing anyone else in the office.
